Matt and staff are great!! We stayed in the cabins and it was great, right on the river and very quiet. The city lost power for maybe a hour and Matt was very good with keeping me updated with any information he received. Very nice park and we will be back again.
The people there are the nicest you'll meet. They were extremely helpful. And the campground is nicely shaded and well kept. The bath house was clean. The pool was clean and not over chlorinated. And the little creek running around the place is a perfect place to splash around with kiddos. We had a wonderful stay!

It was our inaugural camping trip. Playground was just enough to keep our 2 year old occupied and the bathrooms were always clean. The staff couldn't of been more accommodating. Larry,Karen,Michelle and Kat were the best. Larry was able to answer all 106 questions I had regarding the setup of my camper. I would definitely recommend camping here. Check out the Ocoee Olympic park while you are there its a great place to swim on Wednesday's when they stop up the dam

We had a wonderful time staying at the Murphy/Peace Valley KOA. Matt and the staff were always very friendly and accommodating to us. It felt very much like family there! Our dogs enjoyed playing fetch and running in the dog park, along with taking walks by the creek. The campground itself was well-maintained and always very clean. If you are looking for a nice place to camp in North Carolina, definitely stop by the Murphy/Peace Valley KOA!
We had a wonderful week at Peace Valley. We're fairly new RV ers and hosts went above and beyond to assisted us. Beautiful river, plenty of space, very clean, hard working staff (and great rates). We toured the area and relaxed in the shade. Other campers were very friendly and we made many new friends. Made reservations to return mid-September and reserved a Cabin for our daughter. Highly recommend.
